Graham's of Smoky Brae Smoky BBQ Ribs

Posted by Tara Whelan on

We're back, after a long winter break and getting ready to launch back into our Spring and Summer market season! Which means more food and more blogging!

Dunno about you but these longer evenings and the barest hint of sunrise as I wake at literally the crack of dawn for the day job have me thinking about and yearning for summer. And summer means BBQ. I know its a while away yet, but hey, this rib recipe is for the oven so even on the pissiest, coldest, darkest Saturday night, you can crack open a cold one and enjoy the smells and tastes of an indoor BBQ. Don't like ribs? You're mad. But okay. Try on chicken wings, thighs or fillets, or work into a pulled pork recipe. Or throw over homemade chunky potato or sweet potato wedges. Skys the limit here.

1 x prepared rack of ribs
40g of Smoked BBQ Rub

  1. For amazing ribs coat your prepared rack of ribs with 30g of Smoked BBQ Rub, seal and leave to marinade for 3-4 hours or overnight.
  2. Wrap the ribs in tin foil and place on a roasting tray, cook in a pre-heated oven at 160ºC for 1 hr 30 mins.
  3. Fold back the foil to expose the ribs, sprinkle another 10g of rub onto the meat and cook for another 30 mins at 200ºC.
  4. Enjoy
