Nobó was launched in summer 2012 by husband and wife tea Rachel and Brian. After spending time living and working in New York, and inspired by the innovative food culture there, they took a leap of faith and quit their jobs in marketing and finance. On their return to Ireland, Nobó came about from a deep belief that healthier treats could be made from simple nutritious ingredients. From their Dublin kitchen with a borrowed ice cream machine, they hit on their award-winning recipe for a dairy free Frozen Goodness "ice cream", making enough just to get started at the local markets. Eventually demand grew and they moved to larger premises. the discs of dairy free choc followed, to huge success. Can't wait to see what they come up with next (and I'm not dairy-free, vegetarian or vegan!).
